I’d call triage and put the babies needs first
You could be having back contractions so I would ring triage.
@Gabriella doesn't that mean baby is wanting to make an appearance 🫣
@Linda yeah it could be. How many weeks are you? I really wouldn’t ignore it if you are past 30 weeks and it’s intense back pain…
@Gabriella I'm 37 weeks + 3 days
@Mandi no they ain't in my care but back then was totally different to now like in my last pregnancy I wasn't offered 1-1 parenting sessions etc I'm in a total different position
@Mandi it's nothing to do with them wanting to take baby straight away at birth its because I've been in bad relationships etc now I'm in a better place.... they can't take my baby straight away after giving birth because they need to monitor us both in hospital especially baby due to my medication that I take they need to monitor baby and the complications that I've had in my pregnancy..... why do I feel like I'm being judged
@Linda I don't think this is about judging. You were indicating that you're scared of phoning triage because you're worried of social services involvement. At 37 weeks you're full term and cramps can be labour. You wrote a post which people will comment on and the general advice is to put baby's wellbeing first.
I had social involved with me so I no how there work but trust me getting your baby checked will go in your favour if you want a chat message me Hun xx
@Eileen it's like they get a kick out of bringing the past up xx
Sorry to hear you are in a lot of pain. I hope you’re managing to get lots of rest. Just keep thinking it won’t be long until baby is here and then hopefully you’ll feel better. Perhaps you could ring triage or your gp for advice for the backache and cramps? xx
