I love cloth diapers! I did have a diaper service that cleaned them each week for us. It was more affordable than buying diapers for us and saved time. I would look to see if that's an option for you. But if you have the time to do the laundering them then I say go for it. I would look for any organic cotton cloth diapers. Snappi is the brand we use for diaper clips and then a cover that's leak proof. Tons of cut designs! We used thirsties for the cover. Steer clear of polyester, as much as you can.
I’ve been cloth diapering my son since he was born! We usually use pockets and some all in ones. I love a lot of the smaller brand/boutique brands for pockets especially
My baby use esembly since she was born. They carry two sizes and size 1 only last for 3 months on her (she was a chunk lol) but size 2 seems like it’s going to last until she stop wearing them. The quality is good and my baby never has rashes and rarely has blow outs. It’s a bit pricey but it was a one time thing… we never buy diapers again. Also, we do laundry everyday.
I second staying clear of polyester. A lot of brands have polyester. We use Esembly!
@Madeline what’s the diaper service you used?
@Eliza diaper wagon. It's local to my area.
We’ve been using flats with covers as well as disposable diapers. You don’t have to be 100%! We tend to use disposables at night and when out and about, and cloth at home during the day.
+1 to esembly I love cloth diapering my girl is currently 6m 15lb and still in the size 1 for esembly
I didn't try them myself, but my friend did, and her sister in law did. And they both loved them
