I'm not exactly sure how many weeks you are but normally you don't feel flutters until at least 16 weeks and sometimes up to 26 weeks. It also depends on where your placenta is. If you have an anterior placenta then it tends to be longer before you feel them move.

@Jess I’ve been using the Flo app to keep track of my pregnancy it says 10 weeks but not really sure.

I didnt feel my last maybe move until I was about 6 months. But I agree with above the baby isn't big enough yet to feel move

13/14 weeks is the *earliest* I've heard people feeling flutters. Normal to not feel anything until 16-20 weeks, or even later if you have an anterior placenta

@Emily so I’ve been pregnant since July 24th and I guess I just been feeling braxton hicks because I felt that my last pregnancy.

When was the first day of your last menstrual cycle?

You still are very early in your pregnancy…with my son, I didn’t feel anything until around 19 weeks or so. I had a posterior placenta too so I felt the flutters earlier than those with an anterior placenta

I didn’t feel any movements until I was between 18-20 weeks. And it also depends on where your placenta is. With my son I had a posterior and I felt EVERYTHING at 18 weeks. With my daughter I was about 20 when I felt her but I had an anterior placenta so it was rare until I was further along to feel consistent movements. And this time with baby #3 I was about 21 weeks when I felt her, however my placenta again is anterior so I rarely feel her all day but when I do it’s on my lower left side.

It’s truly my fear of not having insurance right now and not being able to get an appointment at my OBGYN to check on the baby to see how everything is doing because I don’t like guessing if it’s Braxton hicks or not because I feel more tightness at night than during the day.

If your insurance is waiting to be renewed- or something is it possible for them to back date it. I know my insurance did that before it kicked in. But I know each company is different
