I’ve not heard of this and have been eating the usual amount of canned food. What was the reasoning they gave? Is it just to eat fresh cos it’s more healthy?

I couldn’t tell you how much canned food I had during my pregnancy and I was mostly fine! I had some issues due to hereditary problems but that’s it

They say dont eat so much stuff but i lived off of canned food and lunch meat my whole pregnancy and my baby is perfectly fine she is 1 month old and more advanced than most babies and very healthy girl eat what you want.. the only thing i would avoid is raw meats like sushi and undercooked beef‼️‼️

I think they say to avoid canned food due to chemicals. 92% of canned food contains BPA

@Kathryn it’s definitely what @Victoria said but it’s fairly new info I guess?!

She may mean tuna/mackrel/sardine due to mercury. But soups and beans are perfectly fine
