28 week scan results
I just wanted to come on here and spread some love and positivity after what has been a whirlwind of emotions since I was diagnosed with a stage 4 complete placenta praevia at my 20 weeks scan.
I had my 28 week scan yesterday and my diagnosis for placenta praevia has completely moved… I’m no longer classed as a high risk pregnancy and the placenta is 2.9 centimetres away from the birth canal. My placenta is not even classed as low lying anymore so I’m on track now for a natural delivery which is crazy news 😁
So my due date is back to Boxing Day!
Please don’t lose hope mama’s - miracles do happen and I am living proof of this.
Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.
🤍
Nothing different at all, was just extremely cautious of heavy lifting and not staying on my feet for too long. I rested when I needed and still continued to work full time as a teacher. I’d spent two months preparing for a C-section. If I could advise anything, please don’t overthink. I’ve suffered with severe anxiety since diagnosis and blamed myself and my ability to naturally deliver and this group was my saving grace. If anyone needs any advice or an ear to listen, I am and will always be here. I think the success stories are needed for momma’s like us 🤍
