@Zoe I'm sorry ur going thru the same. I know it's gonna sound wrong but I'm hoping he gets here while she is gone on vacation
GIRL ME TOO lol. Like she's only going to be there to catch him a minute before he comes out anyways right? The nurses are the ones there before, during and after the labor, hopefully I get a couple with a genuine kind demeanor bc I am truly terrified of child birth lol
@Zoe lol same but I got a good l&d team and a good np that's on call so I should be set. Plus I'm going unmedicated so
you're braver than me! i have zero intentions of going into this without an epidural. i wont know whose going to be apart of his birth til its happening, not a fan of male doctors so hopefully that can be avoided
@Zoe I'm trying to go as natural as can be but if I need meds I will use them. i understand how it is with preferences
I dislike my OB so much as well. The clinic I went to is amazing, they do all the prenatal care until 32 weeks and then send you to an OB for the hospital of your choice. They only had one female OB so I was stuck with her as my only choice. I love love the clinic I went too, and would go back again with another baby, I hope they have a new female OB next time. This OB Im seeing doesn't even knock on the door, just bursts right in, spends less than 3 minutes in the room, has zero interest of my concerns or if I even have any, she doesn't ask if I have any questions until she's opened the door and is literally hanging half out of it ready to leave lol, also frustrating. Im sorry you aren't feeling the support and care you deserve from your provider! Best wishes for a safe, quick, and happy delivery for you and your baby!
