I’ve had protein in mine a few times now and always been fine. It can just be in there and be absolutely normal xx
Had protein in my urine yesterday along with Ketones as I have GD, my consultant said it could also be due to being dehydrated x
I've consistently had protein in my urine since booking. They don't get concerned until you get to 2+, mine jumped to a 3+ and I've been diagnosed with pre-eclampsia as I also had elevated BP.
I haven't had any trace amounts of protein in my urine, which my midwife said is actually unusual as normally there would be trace amounts. They would let you know if you need to be concerned, but from what I gather, it's more common than not.
At this point in pregnancy traces of protein is very normal. It’s often caused by the increase in discharge that comes with third trimester (I had it at 34 weeks too but see it a lot in 3rd trimester patients)
I had this at my midwife appointment last week & was also getting blurry vision, my midwife wasn't concerned about it as all my other checks were ok. I had a blood test and the results came back fine, Was most likely down to increased discharge and dehydration.
Nah if it’s only traces I’m sure it’s fine. X
I had this at my Fetal medicine appt last week and they sent it off for testing. Came back normal. Saw the midwife this morning and there’s no trace of it in my urine today. Your blood pressure is ok and mine is too so try not to panic too much. I guess they will send yours off too??
I had this at my appointment on Monday and my midwife explained that you typically get more discharge at this stage of pregnancy which can show up as traces of protein in the urine. They’re not concerned unless you have any symptoms of preeclampsia or infection or if your blood pressure is also raised!
