Truthfully I’m winging it. I hate hair down there but I can’t see nothing and I’ve given up trying😂
Following, cos I'm at a loose end, apart from getting my husband to do the tricky bits lol!
Same as Emma, asking my husband to do the tricky bits. I’m a bit past caring now, I’m sure they see lots of hairy girl bits on a day to day basis but I get you on the hygiene thing! x
@Kaylee Whaaaat?! Why is that? I’ve been briefing my partner on how it’s done for when I’m entirely incapable 😂
@Heidi midwife said it was because of risk of infection after birth 🫠
I’ve heard a wax is 10x worse at this stage of pregnancy because your lady bits are extra sensitive due to the extra blood there or something? I’ve had one wax in my life and was sure she ripped off my coochie lips it hurt so bad so I’m just going to free style it with the razor 🤣🤣. My last pregnancy I sat on the bathroom floor and lined up razors, my husbands trimmers, two mirrors and a handheld one for the close up😂x
I've just gone in with a trimmer. Don't want to risk shaving, can't stand the idea of stubble/itchiness along will all the other new strange sensations down there 🤣 before pregnancy I did my own waxing, and now it's completely unbearable and too painful, lots of extra blood flow makes it a lot more sensitive
I've got my husband to do it for me but I've bought like a cheapish beard trimmer so I know it's safer than a razer and can still get a close shave. It felt so wrong when he first did it though 🤣
I’ve used hair removal cream and a trimmer for further down . My beautician said a wax is okay at this stage but I’m not sure I could cope with the sensitivity and the pain . Another lady went for a wax on here and she was like omg …
Hair removal cream is the best! You just apply it, and the hair melts off in 15 mins in the shower. Just be cautious to get the sensitive one if your skin gets irritated easily.
@Zainab I can’t see my girl bits so do you just kind of put it on as best you can/feel and do it that way? X
With a mirror maybe ?
They do say no waxing/ shaving before a planned c section or even an unplanned c section should that happen for you. Use veet hair removal that works really well
@Zainab can you put hair removal cream everywhere? Like on the lips and butthole area 🤣🤣 ?? I’ve never used it!

@Amy I think you can just feel where you need to cover it doesn’t matter if you get it over the rest of the body as likely there won’t be any hair to remove
I wouldn’t so close to the holes… it’s not designed for internals .
@Afshan yes to add mind the holes 😂
I had a wax last week at 33 weeks, and it was no different to waxing pre pregnancy. I have been getting them for years though so not sure if I’m just acclimatised to them now! Enough time for hair to return if midwife advice is to not remove!
Omg I used hair removal cream with my second pregnancy , and NOOO never again My vagina was so sore and red for days afterward It burned me and I didn’t have it on longer than 3 minutes!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Amy yes I just stand infront of a mirror and apply it as best as I can, as long as the cream is applied everywhere the hair Will fall off after 15 mins! It's great 😀
Hair removal cream literally felt like I had third degree burns down there 🔥 I use a trimmer, put a mirror up on the toilet and use your phone flash to get some light
I got a leaflet at my 34 week appointment and a fairly stern telling not to shave or wax from 36 weeks.
