Experience at TFP Fertility Oxford

I am very lucky that I have a 20month old LG but we have now been trying for no2 since Christmas. I had one miscarriage in June and another one a few weeks ago. I have been told by the NHS they will not investigate unless we have a third miscarriage. We are lucky that our medical insurance will cover investigations and treatment. I do not want IVF but want investigations done to see if there is a cause for the miscarriages. Has anybody gone to TFP Oxford for investigations and other treatment but not IVF. How did you find it? Do they really push IVF? Can you choose which consultant you see and do you see the same one throughout?

I had fertility investigations there about a year ago. Bloods and internal scan. The nurses did the investigations and then we had a video call with the consultant after to discuss the results (I think there was an option to meet face to face if you prefer). Everyone there seemed really lovely and very professional. They didn’t recommend IVF to me at the time as I had been trying under a year and had nothing obvious wrong. The only annoying this is the amount of consent forms and information you have to fill in on their portal, but maybe this is standard for all clinics. At the time they recommended a Hycosy in the future if we still weren’t having any luck after a year, they put no pressure on us though.

I’m so sorry to hear that, I’ll pray for you both. @Alice I think you should try this: (it’s herbal) and I believe it helped me got pregnant after 2 years trying https://www.ginsen-london.com/infertility-treatments/fertility-remedy-1/
