Thankyou Megan!!
@Eleanor you're welcome! X
As long as they’re gaining weight and had plenty of wet/dirty nappies, I wouldn’t worry. Go by their hunger cues! (Hand in mouth, looking around with tongue out, upset etc) we feed to demand which is less stressful for us going by times or a schedule
My baby got home after a week in hospital and my prep machine starts at 4 ounces so I just kept doing 4 ounces and she just took what she wanted over the duration of 2 hours she's now 6 weeks and takes what she wants from a 5 ounce bottle over the duration of 2 hours and she let's me know when's she's hungry I can tell by her different cries if she say nehhh it's hungry if it's just ehhhh she needs a burp
Follow his cues, he will let you know if he's hungry. My girl is feeding on demand as advised by my midwife. Sometimes she has as little as 50ml and sometimes she'll have as much as 150ml. But we will always offer her more if she's giving us hunger cues. Hope that helps x
