Yup. You need the right mindset and the right chemistry with your 3rd and hubs as well. My man sees sex as only that and so I'm not worried about an attachment afterwards. But you need to make boundaries clear, make sure your man knows that you need attention during that time just as much, it can be difficult, I think women naturally take on the majority of the work and get neglected. Hopefully you can find a 3rd that is into you equally or more than they would be your hubs because it can feel isolating to be in that role. My most memorable times were where the 3rd was into me and cared about my enjoyment too. I've found that it's common for 3rds to be pillow princesses and if you're into that that's great, but I like full participation from everyone. We slowed down on how many we did since having kids, but used to have them about every couple months.
