When do people have their first scans?

I am surprised to hear you can get a scan at 6 weeks! Good luck mamas!!My family doctor only let me take an appointment for the end of 7th week/start of 8th week. And the wait is killing me. May I ask if you got the scan form through the family physician or is yours more like a private scan?

I was with a fertility clinic so I think it’s different when it comes to ivf. Just more in depth monitoring. The norm I’ve heard is that if you aren’t with a fertility clinic, 8 weeks is typical :)
