Thick plastic cover/fabric for wicker furniture?

I cool wicker and metal bookcase thing I want to put the baby’s toys on, but I need to cover the wicker so the toys don’t get splinters in them (mostly soft toys). What do you call that plastic stuff people put on couches and where can I get some to cover the shelves? Drawing a blank here.
