@Xena curious when you were tested?
Was diagnosed 2 weeks ago and it’s been a struggle but overall been keeping sugars good!
I’m 27 weeks today and had a fetal med scan last Thursday… they estimated baby’s weight to be nearly 3lb! So I now have growth scans every 4 weeks until she’s born, they think GD. My gtt is tomorrow🥲🥲
I’m currently being tested for it and I’ve had 4 high readings so waiting for them to tell me I have it 😭 xx
I've been diagnosed since very early on due to having it last pregnancy. I chose to take my blood sugar readings everyday. If you're a soda drinker, switch to diet. Less carbs and sugar. But nothing too bad, they'll set you up with a consult. Light exercise after meals helps bring numbers down as well. Like just a short walk. :) it can be annoying to know it's there but it's not too bad, don't worry mama. 💜
@Sky 24 weeks, 29 weeks and 31 weeks
@Xena what was the reason for testing after 24 weeks were you symptomatic?
@Sky I went for my routine check up with midwife at 28 weeks when she measured my bump she said baby was growing big, referred me for a scan and then consultant said on the scan baby was looking big and wanted to draw out GD, i had it at 29 weeks and had no showings of it, and then went for another scan at 30 weeks baby had grown a lot more in a short time and then they referred me for another GD test which I failed, I wasnt showing any symptoms of it other than baby growing big
I was diagnosed with it my first pregnancy at 32 weeks, not as bad as it is made out, watch what you eat reduce sugar intake , plenty of water. X
