You’re better safe than sorry, my baby was 3 weeks old mid August and I’ve signed him up to start Sept 2025. Depending on where you are and what age group you want yours to start in, some nurseries around where I live have booked up already until Jan26.
I signed my son up when I was 12 weeks pregnant
I’ve just signed up and I’m 14 weeks pregnant. It felt crazy but I was told I was doing the right thing as with the government funding changes they’re getting full for 2026 already I’ve asked for a place from Jan 2026 but still waiting to see if we got a place
We also booked our place at 12 weeks pregnant. Even then we only had a confirmed place a month before I went back to work when he was 11 months only. He’s currently on the wait list for a nursery closer to home and has been on their wait list since April 2023. I think it really depends on the demand and number of childcare providers in your area.
Depend when you will be needing it.
We registered our youngest son at nursery when he was 3 days old. The waiting list was quite long though for that one. With our eldest we registered him a couple of weeks before we wanted him to start!
We signed up when I was less than 10 weeks pregnant, the earliest they had space was September’26, and there were 220 kids on the waitlist in front of us… so I would do it as soon as possible to be safe
Depends where you are really. We just secured our girls place for April next year and there's no waiting lists etc
We signed up when I was 30 weeks pregnant, even then it felt like it was too late we already missed out on one nursery we liked haha, but managed to get a good one in the end. Better to do it as early as possible.😊 starting from Sept 2025. :)
I signed up when I was 16 weeks pregnant, the waiting list was building up and I need baby girl to start quite young x
I have signed my 2 year old up. He will start next September.
