It was around 12 weeks for me

Around 10 weeks for me, didn’t think it could happen so early but it did!

Also around 12 weeks. Its horrible ☹️

Around 16 weeks for me, it did really ease once he moved and engaged though, but that was around 35 weeks! Rubbish I know :(

Ask for a referral to a physio as well, I saw one and it did help slightly, they gave me acupuncture which did ease it for a few days each time x

Thanks for everyone’s replies! @Beth not sure if they will refer yet, they didn’t exactly say I don’t have it but were kinda dismissive saying it normally starts later x

10 weeks

18-20 weeks. It’s been a wild ride since then. Currently having to go upstairs on my hands and knees at 33 weeks 😂👍 I recommend speaking to midwife for a physio referral sooner rather than later

@Kacie aww that’s rubbish if they dismissed you as it’s so painful , you can usually self refer to the physio that’s what I did on the advice of the midwife, not sure if that’s an option for you, hope it is xx

@Beth ahh okay, well the dismissive person was my consultant, he did say it could be but more common in later second trimester but he was the one to mention the name based on symptoms, seeing my midwife soon so will see what She says x

@Jess oh gosh! I’ve heard it can get that bad! Sorry to hear and Yh think im gonna xx

8 weeks for me 😵‍💫 has been on and off until 22 weeks when it became constant. Now 28 weeks and getting worse

My first pregnancy I started getting it at 14 weeks. Second pregnancy didn’t really come about until 30 weeks

Does PGP pain feel like something is pressing on a bruise on one side of your pubic bump? I’m almost 16weeks and feel bruised on one side. Thanks

@Carly yes this is exactly how it started for me, felt like one side of my pubic bone was bruised

@M oh that is reassuring! Thank you. I’ve woken up this morning and it’s gone (for now) but I’m Keeping an eye on it to see if it increases etc. sounds like a literal Pain to Have this throughout pregnancy! Xx

@Carly fingers crossed it doesn’t get worse for you! 🤞 but if it does, a pregnancy pillow and pelvic support belt have really helped me. The pain is not gone but it’s much more manageable now! Xx
