Well you can definitely put it through the tax free govt account as this fee will normally be deducted from your 1st invoice. I did it last year. A 40 £ contribution from the govt as you paid 200 (as they contribute 8 pounds towards every 2 pound you put it in) is fabulous. Every penny counts these days!! And it is standard practice for a registration fees but as far as I am aware it gets deducted from your 1st invoice.... so deffo process it though your childcare account
@Rebecca i’ve never paid a registration fee, wouldn’t call it standard practice as not every single nursery has this in place.
@Melody most do though! I've enquire d at several nurseries recently and they all had registration fees!
@Rebecca all the ones i enquired with didn’t :) the nursery my son ultimately went to didn’t either. How funny how different our experiences are.
We had to put £50 deposit down to secure/reserve our daughters space. I didnt use the tax free element for it but I don't see why you can't x
You can use the 20% off on registration fees
Paid £250 registration for my boy and he’s not even starting until June next year haha
I was told for anything OVER the hours it was £100 to complete registration but for government funded hours alone it is not required.
I highly doubt it. I've paid registration fees, standard practice
