How engaged is baby?

Badger notes from appointment nearly two weeks ago says not engaged. Next appointment is Friday and I’m hoping that changes. 36 weeks tomorrow x

My baby is 5/5 can someone explain what that means please 🫣 xxx

5/5 = free 4/5 = sitting on the pelvic brim 3/5 = lower but most still above the brim 2/5 = engaged, as most is below the brim 1/5 or 0/5 = deeply engaged.

Breech 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ and currently sat on my bladder! (Scan today) She's sat in a V position with her arms stretched out, so I have aches and pains everywhere from her head, bum, arms and legs moving and wiggling! She also apparently has long legs!

Remember it doesn’t actually matter, you can become engaged and disengaged and keep going inbetween - I wasn’t at all at 37+2 and next thing I know baby’s coming lol x

I was told 4/5 then 2 days later at a scan they told me he was breech, no idea where he is now

I was 36 weeks when the midwife said he was 4/5 engaged, at the scan I was 36+2, and I'm now 37+1

I've been all of them so who knows, scan tomorrow and I'm already contracting so hopefully she's on her way! 37+4 today, being induced on Saturday :)
