Booked a working mens club a while back because I wanted a certain date, luckily someone I know does invites so he designed then and I just sent them out digitally to keep cost down 😊. I am going to do the food myself just buffet style (paid catering for his christening and to me that's what costs so much). Balloons/decor I am doing myself, I am thinking of buying my little one a soft play and taking that with us he hasn't got many baby friends as won't start nursery till Jan. I'm sure whatever you do will be amazing though
@Emily wow that sounds amazing. What type of soft play are you hiring? Can you please share the link, if available?
@Beth that’s cool. Can you tell me more about working men’s club? It is sone kind of corporate setup or party place ?
They can hold all different functions its just a room so really you do whatever you want in there (dependant on their rules with confetti, etc) so you can provide your own food to make it cheaper and hire people in (soft play, face painter, etc)
Started properly sorting last week and did find a lot of the local village halls/community halls were booked up for our preferred date, but we secured one this weekend for the end of November. Once I had the venue confirmed, I made the invites myself on Canva and got them out to people and have sorted a cake and hired soft play for the venue. I’m going to do the rest of the food and decor myself! We’re having the party 10-12 so am opting to do brunch food like croissants and fruit which works out easier and cheaper!
