Milk supply dropping

Hey all! At the beginning I was an oversupplied and now it has steadily dropped, which I am sure is normal. But I am so close to making to my goal of exclusive breast milk/ breast feeding for my son’s first year. And am scared to start supplementing with formula on top of solids. I feel like my son isn’t really eating solid foods enough to be drinking less milk off me - therefore making the supply go down. I have started drinking my lactation tea again but it’s not really boosting me like I am wanting to. Any advice, diet suggestions, really anything to help me make it a few more months?

Here’s a good article on foods that will help increase your supply: https://www.momjunction.com/articles/best-foods-to-increse-breast-milk_0076100/?sem_campaign=DynPMAXMJToddler_USA&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAACo00vYKVZhJWH7j7vHqhVBXNuUKS&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyO65yvakiQMVYkx_AB2e3SUMEAAYASAAEgI3wPD_BwE

Also I’m sure you already know but try to avoid things like caffeine, alcohol, smoking, exc.

I had the same thing happen to me at the 9 month mark! So frustratinggg! I started to drink coconut water and body armour ( electrolyte drink) as well as take supplements ( lengendairy milk) and it brought it back to surplus🥰 I was planning on doing power pumping as well, but since hydration and supplements worked, I didn’t have to do that. I also heard just offering more feedings can increase milk supply since there is more demand on it.

Cauliflower, oatmeal, broccoli

Stay hydrated. Try not to stress over it. Power pumping showed best results for me. Frequency of the pump not duration. Mimic cluster feeding so your body thinks you have a newborn. Coconut water with liquid IV, mothers milk helps some mothers increase but have heard it decresses in some mothers too. Best of luck on the journey.

I think staying hydrated, eating oatmeal, and reducing stress is what helps me the most!
