am i fucked?

so basically i have a 6 month old who refuses to take a bottle so therefore he’s exclusively breastfed. anyways for the past 3ish days when he’s nursed he pulls away crying acting like he’s hungry and tries to eat again then repeats. i did find a bottle he’ll take but the only issue is i’ve tried 7 different formulas and he projectile vomited them all up and just screamed. what do i do? how do i get my supply back up?

Try pumping even if you don’t give it to him in the bottle just to get ur supply up. Also eating oats or brewers yeast in cookies. Just keep trusting that your body will produce milk for your baby even if he’s pulling away and seems like he hungry or not getting anything, he just telling your body to keep up with his demands and that’s what your body will do. I think I went through that for a week or two in the first 3 months of my daughters life but your body is always adjusting the supply for your baby best thing is to keep your baby on ur boob

definitely pump for every missed feed! is he possibly teething?

@Sarah he does seem to be teething/he has been for the past 2 months or so

to answer your question, no, almost certainly not fucked lol. he could also be on a nursing strike, or even maybe an ear ache/infection. any other weird things happening?

@Elisa thank you!

Coconut water helps with supply too. Try pumping every 2-3 hrs to bring it back up as well.

@Sarah i honestly didn’t even think of that, but no nothing else has happened recently
