No, or talk to the pediatrician and they tell you how much of a small amount of water can you give the baby to drink to clean the baby’s water, but usually that’s when it’s past the newborn stage, or you leave it alone and the white on the tongue will go away by itself
I came here to say yes and then saw the the comments above. My mom told me to do it as well as the papers they gave upon discharge from the hospital. A quick google search also says yes. Just check with your doctor ?
I have heard yes- use a wet soft cloth to clean the gums and tongue. I never followed it though and just recently started doing it to my 5 month old once a while

Nope! X Theyre only drinking milk. The saliva will naturally clear it.
