Early genetic testing reveals gender?

Hi, I’m having my gender blood testing soon but noticed this test result from my first prenatal appointment says female. Not sure if that’s because it’s my genetic testing or the baby is a female. Anyone else have this result? Was it consistent with your gender? Thanks! (Test from Kaiser) Test is: Fmr1 gene, cgg repeats Results: Fragile X: FEMALE. Two alleles with 30 CGG repeats in the FMR1 gene detected. Thanks!

When I did mine, it showed male chromosomes. So I'm assuming if they did not find male chromosomes, then you are having a girl. Congrats!

Unsure because mine was all together genetics and gender and said fetal sex: consistent with male

When I did mine it said no Y chromosomes was detected saying it was a female.

And I was only 8weeks pregnant so I don’t see how that was possible for me.

Omggg how exciting! I had a feeling it was a girl and was a bit hopeful!

Mine just said Male. It didn’t give me the results as to how they got to that but I know they are testing for male DNA and if it’s not there they assume they are female.

@Curtisa wonder why mine was so vague! Thanks!
