Nhs NIPT
Hi everyone - has anyone had the NIPT screening on the Nhs and received gender results from it? I know they can tell the gender from this blood test and you can privately have one done to find out the sex but wondering if you have it on the nhs whether they will tell you the gender or not? Can I request to find out? Thank you

Yeah NHS doesn’t give the gender option. If they offer you the NIPT it’ll just be for the relevant health checks and they won’t reveal gender
NHS do not offer gender as part of the NIPT test. I asked when we had to have it. ☺️
The NHS don’t offer it if afraid. You’ll definitely have to have a private scan x

As far as I know, the NHS does not offer the option of finding out gender with the NIPT. I’ve not had it though as it wasn’t required after my 12 week scan/bloods taken
