Straining baby
Does anyone else’s baby seem to strain and go red in face when they’re trying to poo? We took my LO to drs and they say it’s normal for his age (he’s 2 weeks 4 days) but he seems so uncomfortable!
He’s also started spitting up more just recently it’s been so hard to settle him last couple days 😭

Yes our little boy does it and his forehead gets red then after he poops he almost like smiles lol

Apparently pooping is a learned behaviour as you have to clench some muscles but relax others. Babies have to learn how to do so! My son did the same thing… now he goes quiet for a while before pooing and refuses to latch, then suddenly he poops 😂
