When did your mixed babies (black and white) develop their full melanin/hair texture/curl pattern?

Melanin is very different from child to child, even with white and black mix. It really depends on how exposed the child is to the sun, this also applies for adults. Hair .... mostly from a few months. But hair texture and pattern can also change, the older they get. I have also noticed that some kids hair grow very differently after it is cut ( big chops). I have seen straight to curly, curly to straight, curly to wavy etc. So the best thing to do is just wait it out 🌹❤️ and whilst doing that, remind them how beautiful they are (skin and hair ).😘

Not white black thing but...Puberty gave mine tight curls and crazy thing is we both had curls.. but dad's was tight( use to straighten it with chemicals... soft hair though) My kid has pin straight fine hair.. and barely a wave.... which is weird.. who knew it could happen.. baby hair is fine and thick but my toddler had curls very cute , never cut.. until he got to 3-yr old ish... the curly curl just got less and was more relaxed.. his hair was thick and heavy... we cut it from shoulder length to boy short and it's not curly. Strange. Maybe puberty will change. Mixed skin also... even different shades.... the more sun .. the darker they get and they don't bounce back to original colour. I think darker skin tan just gets darker over years and as adult..:/ all 3 got different shades but they think they got white skin 😆genetics is really fascinating

Less then 6 months for melanin and 6 months for hair texture

@Aliyah good point. I am certain my son has gotten darker with puberty and his ringlet curles bave grown out. I think I have gotten lighter with age myself.
