TENs recommendations

Looking into getting a TENs machine to help in early labour and wondered if anyone had any recommendations please? My local hospital doesn't hire them out, but I would prefer to buy one anyway as I don't want to have to remember to return it 😅

Following the post as I have the same question 😂

Saw someone comment similar the other day, and they suggested https://www.homebirthsupplies.co.uk/ (for hire and buy) or the Boots machine - just get extra pads / patches in case one set isn’t particularly sticky so you’ve got a back up and aren’t fussing!

I used one last pregnancy and got it from boots. It’s really good and has a boost button to make it a lot stronger when you have a contraction. Also comes with a string so you can wear it round your neck and still move x

I've bought the boots one as I read it was good!

Sounds like the Boots one might be worth looking into, thanks! 😊 x

Hiring really is easy, they send you the box/bag addressed and stamped to return it. Was very simple! Just set a reminder in your phone for when it needs to go back!

I used the boots one last time (emergency purchase in labour 🤣) and it was great! Will just buy some replacement pads for it this time x
