You’re not a failure so even though it’s tough try not to think that way. Have you tried supplements? I take milk a plenty and goats rue. Also do you pump every time he feeds? Or are you giving him the bottle?
You're not a failure, mama. Keep going if you feel led to do so, but remember YOU'RE important too, and needing your time back is OK. Formula is a helpful tool, and it doesn't make you less of a mama if you're supplementing with formula. You're rocking the whole mama thing, by the way!
@Ryann yes I’ve had 3 different ones and I still can’t get much when I pump
@Patricia so usually I’d just latch him and he’d be fine for a while but would pop off and on sometimes. After the appointment I would pump and store it while his dad gave him formula in a bottle. I’ve tried pump princess and I’m still on parentals, I’ve also tried some from a brand called mommy’s bliss and the lactation cookies and even homemade lactation treats.
Have you tried hand expressing and expressing often enough ? Coconut milk , take a fish oil, sunflower lecithin, and power pump keep stimulating and don’t focus on what you’re getting because u won’t make much milk being stressed trust me in in the Same boat my supply tanked and slowly but surely I’ve doubled it and I think alot of it’s due to stress . Also u can ask ur doctor about domperidone I just started it 2 days ago and will post my experience in a month Regardless every drop counts and my babies bottles are still a lot of formula as I’m still not making enough so i understand. Make sure to pump through the night ! And I end each session with hand expressing. Also use a hospital grade pump like spectra
Have you replaced your pump parts at all?
