Physio referral
Has anyone been referred for physio and had contact from them or being told how long the wait is?
Midwife referred me a couple of weeks ago and my pelvic pain is just getting worse, really struggling to get out of bed the last few days 😔

I was referred at 16 week appointment and then seen at 18 weeks xx
I was referred on Friday but wasn’t told how long it would be. Think it’ll depend how long the wait is in your area. I’d give them a call today to chase it up and just ask what the situation is as you’re really struggling. Hopefully it won’t be much longer 🤞🏼 If you’re struggling contact your gp too as they can prescribe you stronger painkillers to help, I had this in my last pregnancy as I was unable to sleep etc due to pain

Depends on your catchment area. I'm greater glasgow and clyde and was told a 10 week wait for one-to-one physio or a few weeks for the pelvic girdle pain class and I got a call for a cancellation and attended it a week later. Different areas may have different wait times though x
