Sterilising

What sterilisation methods are we thinking of doing for bottles/dummies? There are so many different techniques!! I think I’m going to use the Milton cold water steriliser but would love to know if there are easier ways to sterilise

Honestly Milton seems so easy especially since you can just leave bottles dummies and pump parts in the fluid until you need them x

I don’t know your financial situation/ they are quite pricey but we’ve got a UV steriliser that can store sterilised bottles for 24 hours. It looks like a mini dishwasher inside 😅 we’ll just simply have to take one out to use and the rest can stay in there throughout the day

I just don’t like the bleachy smell that Milton leaves on products. I’m going to use tommee tippee steam steriliser (£50ish plug in one, not the microwave one or the UV one). Used it with last baby and really makes things feel clean - just bulky to have on the side in the kitchen I’m afraid

We're planning to get a UV one.

I had the tommee tippee microwave one last time and it holds 4 bottles (doesnt fit Doc Browns but MAM fit). Cheap, quick and easy. I've also bought some of the microwave Sterilising bags. They're great for quickly sorting Dummies and pump parts. Also easy to pack if you're staying with relatives etc.

Cold water with Milton

I've had microwave steriliser, and steam steriliser in the past but this time I'm going for cold water as it seems much easier x
