Nursery cost

How much do you pay for nursery and how many hours/days? My daughter isn’t allowed to start flying start in January due to living in an upper class area & because she’s got no development issues, so I’m thinking about sending her to private nursery 1 day a-week maybe 2 for the socialisation with children her age but this really depends on the cost because I’m on UC as I don’t work yet.

My daughter is unable to get flying start due to where we live too. I pay £293 a month and that’s for 8 hours a week 🫣not cheap stuff haha

We do two days a week 8-5ish and it’s roughly £500 but I use the government childcare scheme so I end up paying about £400 all together give or take, depending on the month x

1.5 days a week, it's £442 before the childcare government discount I pay around £355 a month x

£280 a week, 5 days 8-5 🥲

@Dionne how do you get the government discount x

https://www.gov.uk/get-tax-free-childcare Create an account with the government chidlcare link aboce, you pay into this and they top it up by 20%. You then pay thr nursery direct from the government account x

Around £65 per day here or half day around £30-£35 each

1.5 days a week and it ranges from 390-440 depending on how many days in the month. It’s a joke
