Super confused!! 😣

Hey mamas, any advice for transitioning my 11 month old into cows milk and reducing the amount of bottles she’s having a day? Her routine is usually: Wake up and has 7oz Breakfast Sleep Lunch 7oz milk Sleep Dinner 7oz milk Sleep

You can probably cut out the one in the middle of the day?

So they should naturally drop there bottles on there own, but milk is still their main source of nutrition until over 1. It’s good that you’ve got baby on 3 meals a day, I didn’t introduce a snack until mine was over 1 he used to have 2 bottles of cows milk 1 first thing on a morning then 1 in the afternoon, but I think when I introduced a snack he then wasn’t bothered by a bottle in the afternoon, hope this helps. You could trade a bottle for a small snack instead. I would recommend the bottle between lunch and dinner.

I got rid of the morning bottle first. I just started offering breakfast before the bottle. When she was eating enough at breakfast, she stopped wanting the milk bottle after.

I also dropped breakfast bottle first. As far as transitioning to cows milk I started mixing it with my son‘s formula. He was drinking 8 ounce bottles so I would do 2 ounces of cows milk and 6 ounces of formula and I just upped the cows milk until we ran out of formula so after a few days of 2/6 ounces I did 4/4 and then 6/2 and eventually he was on just straight up cows milk. I did the transition over a month. So I think I did the 2/6 for a week and until he was on complete cows milk. I also didn’t want to waste any formula so I tried to time it out so I would use the rest of the can that I had. Because we all know that can be expensive

Mine is 11.5 I started mixing with formula then 1st bottle formula 2nd cow milk then 3rd before bed is formula x
