Zyprexa in pregnancy
I’m a little on the fence of taking this medication during pregnancy to prevent the risk of psychosis
I’d rather take it to ensure no psychosis.
But it makes me “out of it” and more tired plus causes weight gain.
The dr said it was safe for baby but is it really?

I don't know about this medication specifically but I guess you have to weigh up the risks. I guess that it could be a risk to yourself and your baby if you have an episode of psychosis while you're pregnant. You can weigh that up against the negative side effects of the medication. Your doctor will be honest about any risks of medication to your baby. It's a tough one definitely. I had to give up medication during pregnancy as I felt the benefits of the meds didn't justify potential risks to baby but it was a hard call

I stopped taking it. Took a alternative because I am 33weeks and he has extended tummy and respiratory issues
