Meal Ideas

My 19 month old has always been a good eater. She has had periods where she is more picky than others. Lately I’m getting frustrated because I am running out of ideas of what to feed her. Mostly for lunch and dinner. She used to love eggs and chicken nuggets, now she won’t touch them. She eats fruits, some veggies, cheese, yogurt, piergoies, PBJ, other breakfast foods daily. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

This is a great time to try out new things you don't usually serve to see if they can make it into her rotation. Try quinoa, cous cous, farro, chick peas, polenta, tofu, olives, cottage cheese, seasonal squash, tuna, sardines, salad. Don't feel like you have to stick to "kid foods" anything you would eat is fair game. She may surprise you!

I did cottage cheese with her favorite fruit for breakfast for the first time yesterday and she went crazy. I just started by dipping the slices of strawberries into cottage cheese. She loved it.
