Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer

I have a toddler and expecting my second very soon. Is a bottle sterilizer and dryer a good option to save on time for washing bottles? I know they are usually used for weakened immune systems, etc. but wondering if its worth it to help on saving time washing bottles when we will have our hands full. We also have a dish washer that sanitizes so wondering if we should just rely on that option.

I'm based in Ireland and recommendation is to wash and sterilise bottles, the dishwasher would just be the washing stage and then sterilise is needed after this. It's recommended to do this until their immune system has been built up. I wash and then pop them in a steam steriliser in the microwave and then out onto a bottle drying rack. There might be machines that do all the steps though to save on time, definitely seen ones that sterilise and dry, hopefully wash too. Would save a lot of time!

I came to say the same as Louise, your still supposed to wash and then sanitize them

We have a sterilise and dry machine but we still need to wash them first. I’ve been told same as Louise, the dishwasher is just the wash stage and would still need sterilising after.

I have the nuby sterilise and dry machine and you still have to wash beforehand. I don’t think there is steriliser that does all the steps and if there is I personally would prefer to wash everything myself so I know it’s clean

As far as I have been told you should wash then sterilise bottles until they are at least 1 years old. UK based.
