Anusol suppositories and the external cream - a weeks treatment usually helps!

I was given scheriproct by my midwife- I think it was on prescription.

If you’d like a quick solution that doesn’t include medication: 50g of Kelloggs All-Bran Original Cereals (try having them twice for the first day). You need 25g of fiber each day for a good gut health (I am nutritionist) - try to get different foods so that you can get that much fiber from your daily diet - it will do wonders for your gut health, skin, and mood! (Don’t forget 2-3L of water as well) (please always follow gp’s instructions - I am no doctor)

I had to go to the doctors in the end. Mentioned it during our 6 week review and was prescribed cream and suppositories they have really helped :)

@Lucy thank you

@Lauren I’ll give this a try thanks

@Marianne thanks

@Elina thanks I’ll try this too I’ve been trying to up my fibre intake

@lauren thanks I’ve been using germaloids but it’s not really helping. Did the dr have a look at yours? I’m going for my 6 week check soon but I’m definitely going to say to them if it’s not any better by then

So tried anasol and explained I had been using it for a month with it being okay fora day then coming back with vengeance. He did not look 👀 was happy to take my word for it after me explaining the one day being fine next not, using something for a month and me explaining the amount of blood there was xxx

I’ve used everything under the sun and the only thing that’s ever helped me is Preparation H. After one use of this cream I had relief I’ve never felt with any other treatment x

In addition to the cream I got fybogel to help make my stools smoother and not exacerbate the piles. That helped a ton.

@Heather thanks! can you buy this or did you get it from your dr?
