Medical advice please 🙏🏽😭

I know I should ask her doctor and I plan on it when they open but it's only going on 4am and I'm sobbing, my baby girl just last night started projectile vomiting after feeds, this morning was the second time after only a 7 minute feed (because I was feeding her less to try to avoid it happening again.) Has anyone else had this happen? Am I doing something wrong? Is this possibly something really wrong with my little girl? I just really need some input from anyone who's experienced something like this before because I'm making myself sick with worry 😭

My baby did once projectile vomit when he was like 2 months. I called they asked to see him immediately. I think the fact that it’s happened more that once call…

It could be acid reflux or an issue with the formula

My daughter did this for a while! Then we switched her formula and she stopped!

I'm breastfeeding and this is the first time she's ever vomited like this

Trying switching the position your holding her while feeding don’t stress there is no guide to parenting every child is different as well as every moms experience…. Your doing a great job

How old ?

I’m assuming the baby has to be around 4 months old since they are in the June 2024 group

My first baby would projectile vomit a lot. Turned out she had pretty bad reflux. I would not worry, specially if your baby just did it once. It happens. The little flap in the throat that keeps things down is immature and maybe she drank more than usual in those 7 mins. If there’s nothing else going on where she appears to be sick, I’d just watch her but it’s not uncommon for them to do that from time to time.

She's 4 months as of the 24th and I sit her upright and meet her where she sits to feed her and she'd fallen asleep leaning against my leg for a few seconds after her feeds at 9pm and 3am cuz I try to hold her still for 30 minutes and then she just turned her head and it was like it was shooting out of her mouth

Thats exactly what my daughter did. You should take her to the doctor yes but I changed my girls formula and they put her on acid reflux medication and she is doing better and hasn’t vomited like that again! My baby is also 4months as of the 17th

Was she upset afterwards?

She didn't seem bothered and in fact fell right back asleep. I was more upset than she was

Fever? Or fussiness? Watery? Milky? Chunky?

No fever, only the usual hungry fussiness and it was 95% just milk coming right back up with only a small amount of cuddles from what was still on her tummy from an earlier feed

My baby does this quite often. She doesn't seem bothered

Take her to the doctor. Make sure it is not pyloric stenosis
