Keeping surfaces clear I e. Dining table, sideboards, under TV cabinet, basically removing anything that poses a hazard, that is breakable, can fall on head. My husband glued our bedside lamps with double sided tape on the side tables 😂🤣, leaving nothing on edges of kitchen, soon they will start dragging chairs to reach stuff so knives and other things need to be out of sight. Cooker/hob and oven need to be off not standby. Pretty much assess each room baby goes into and see what causes an issue, chest of drawers may need to be wall hung if not heavy to hold own weight. Currently thinking to do the same to my display cabinet in the living dining, it actually came with the straps etc to do it but as we moved stuff around we need to move it back to reattach to wall. Kitchen cabinets we use magnet locks. Otherwise maybe a play pen for when you need to leave them alone for a few mins works for some.

As silly as it sounds but don’t use plug socket covers because in the uk our sockets have a mechanism that makes it live once something is put in it, if that makes any sense x

Don’t use the plug covers that have prongs into the sockets, they aren’t necessary or safe. Little fingers can’t operate the shutter system to make the socket live. I haven’t actually baby proofed much this time around, bigger pieces of furniture being anchored is the main one. With my first I put like the foam cornering on stuff etc but I didn’t find it actually was necessary. I use stair gates to shut off the kitchen and the stairs, but other than that he has free roam!

Oh okay didn’t know that about plug covers thanks girls!
