@Plant_Mom8.9 😂😂you’d be surprised ! My sons a picky eater but jumped straight to “real” food. Hated purees & pouches.
I agree with @Plant_Mom8.9. I don’t think I ordered from a kids menu till he was at least 3 or 4, even then depending on where we ate or what I was having I may even put some of mine on a small plate for him instead of ordering a whole kid meal.
I always have my kids snacks in my bag just in case. But usually I don't need them. My baby has always been very happy eating off of my plate.
Nothing wrong with bringing your own food for a baby. I order my baby sides as she’s got so many allergies so she can never have anything of the main bit and for her main course I bring something from home x
At that age my little one ate some of my food and water and some of his baby food/ snacks when we were home or out and no one batted an eye (3 almost 4 boys in) you are fine mama
Thank you all so much for you advice 🫶🏻
I always bring his meals to the restaurant unless I know they have something that I know he will eat. Staff is also very helpful if you ask for warm up or if you need smaller utensils!
I quite often get myself lunch somewhere and bring my boys something. My theory is as long as you buy something then it doesn't really matter. No one has ever questioned me. If they do just blame allergies or something
I’ve never had a restaurant be bothered by me coming in with food I knew my son would eat. I used to work in restaurants too, I know for a fact it’s not something we were ever worried about
My baby ate what I ordered I just cut it smaller for him or grab some sides that he can eat. I never ordered a kids meal until he was like 4 coz they’re usually fried stuff, (why is it always fish n chips or nuggets?! 😵💫) and he could never finish it anyway. He can have a risotto or pasta or steak or something w me.
I wouldn’t expect an 11mo to eat off a kids menu regardless, even if they had one
