Rash around mouth

Does anybody have any idea as to what this could be and what could be causing it? I’ve already been to the chemist and was just advised to put sudocrem on it, which she just wipes off as soon as I put it on 😫. I was thinking it could be from her dummy, but even when she doesn’t have one in it still flares up. Has anyone else experienced this with their wee ones? It doesn’t seem to bother her but to me it does look sore. There’s no rash anywhere else just around mouth x

My daughter gets teething rash similar to this but then recently she did have hand foot and mouth and it looked very similar. She was fine in herself but had little spots on her forearms and bottom too.

Could be dribble/teething/dummy rash, or could possibly be hand, foot and mouth

How old is your wee one? Mine is 16 months and it’s been like this for about 2 months, they don’t seem to be concerned though. It just looks uncomfortable but she doesn’t seem to be phased. She’s currently got another 2 teeth coming in. It doesn’t seem to get any worse but it’s just not going away x

@Alisha I was thinking it could be from dribbling too! I doubt it’s hand foot and mouth as she doesn’t have it anywhere else and it’s been there for too long x

My little one had this, he’s 16 months old. We were worried it was HFM but took him chemist and they said it wasn’t. He was also teething so put it down to his dummy rubbing around his mouth when he was really dribbling. We reduced the amount he had his dummy and it went away. We also couldn’t find anything to put on it as he rubbed it straight off x

@Chantelle Louise ah so could be the dribbling and the dummy then also! I hope that that’s the case and it goes away! It’s a nightmare trying to put anything on it isn’t it 🤦🏼‍♀️she would wipe it off too. I will try reduce the dummy a bit and see if it helps! Thank you!! X

@Becky hopefully it’s just that and nothing else🤞🏼 it really is! Especially when they’re too young to understand🙈 No worries lovely, hope it’s sorted soon for her x

My son gets this all the time when he's teething! We put this balm on and it clears it up really well: https://www.boots.com/weleda-all-purpose-balm25g-10323855?cm_mmc=bmm-buk-google-ppc-_-PLAs-_--_-pmax_mother%26baby__gg_shopping_____pmedia&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwsoe5BhDiARIsAOXVoUtGTEQPRfTQBk7Vr_811c_szGsVHP74LvcLrID-_9uDxbIqXNDLmMoaAsR-EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
