Pregnancy after PUL

Hi all, I had a PUL (pregnancy of unknown location) in August which I had a medically induced miscarriage for, I was experiencing lots of pain and at the time my left fallopian tube and ovary wasn’t visible. I am now pregnant again 5+4 weeks and I can’t shake the anxiety/paranoia. I’ve registered my pregnancy already at my chosen hospital, but I was wondering if I would be able to get an early scan due to my history? I had one previously with my daughter at 6+2 weeks that I paid privately for. Also not entirely sure that the dates are accurate going off LMP as I was on the pill.

I'm pretty sure the early pregnancy unit usually offer early scans for those who've had an experience like yourself in the past. If you can't self refer then I would go through your GP and see if your GP can refer you for an early scan.

@Hannah thank you, I’m still waiting for someone to get back to me about registering the pregnancy, I did this online last week and so far haven’t heard anything

Hi Demi, I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant after a loss at 10 weeks and I cannot shake the anxiety either! I have a scan booked in 12 days when I’ll be 7 weeks but still worried as feel like I have barely any symptoms and no sickness etc! Did you manage to get an early scan through the hospital? Just wanted to reach out and say I’m here if you want to chat as it’s a scary time! What’s your estimated due date? Will probably be a week or so before mine all being well 🙏❤️🌈 xxx

@sarah hi Sarah, I haven’t had an early scan with the NHS yet (I haven’t even been given the appointment for my booking appointment so this isn’t a shock) thankfully I have health insurance so I had one privately. It was put through as an ectopic pregnancy check so I can be reimbursed by my insurance. I’m going to wave at you hopefully we can connect x
