Constipation

My little boy is nearly 5 months and he’s really struggling in terms of constipation. We went to the Drs and they gave us some lactulose which works sometimes and doesn’t others. We have found this week it’s not been working as well but we can tell he’s in a bit of discomfort because he’s trying to poo so hard most days. Has anyone else experienced this?

Do you give him water?

Drop of cool boiled water won’t hurt. I did it in a bottle with a smaller teat so she didn’t drink too much too quick. Helped loads x

We’ve given him a little bit of orange juice in a bit of boiled cooled water and that didn’t work (this advice was given by the Neo natal team before people come for me 😂)
