When did you go up to the next size bottle teat and how did you know to change?

We use tommee tippee and my 10 week old just went on to size 2 a couple of days ago. Things to look out for is getting frustrated when feeding. Taking a long time to finish. Not taking as much as usual. X
My LO is 9 weeks and still prefers the 0 teat. I tried the size 1 and it still feels like he is choking and taking in too much air. Is this okay
