Tongue tie

My boy has recently had his tongue tie cut. I was told at the time he also has a high palette which is why his latch on a bottle is terrible. He chokes and takes in so much air. I have seen nuk bottles being suggested but which ones?

The Nuk ones we were recommended are the First Choice teats (we use slow flow size 1)

Hi Anna, my little one was tongue tied and I had his cut 2 weeks ago nearly 3. I mean he doesn’t have the high palette but if you find down the line the Nuk bottles aren’t working I use the MAM ones for him and we use size 1 teets now. He was same still even now occasionally is choking even when being breast feed he does. I know it’s not your nuk question but just an idea in case it doesn’t work still xx

Hi Anna, The bottles I have ordered say m 0-6 comes as standard with the bottles. Is that the correct ones? Did you notice a difference? X

My first baby had a tongue tie and a high palate, and she fed best with Pidgeon. My second baby (6 weeks old) had a tongue tie and a high palate as well! She feeds best on Avent :)
