Baby just wouldn’t stop screaming! help me please!

Whilst I’ve managed to calm him down for a moment I need your guys help. So, woke up this morning to my baby fidgeting and shouting (he does this everytime he wants his bottle) so made him one and got ready to give it to him. When it had warmed up I started feeding him like i always do, nothing different. He was fine until he got 2oz in then he started pulling away. So that’s my cue to give him a burp. So he had two burps and i tried again, he was still spitting it out. So I changed his nappy and tried again, still spitting it out. So I changed his clothes and burped him some more the whole time he was screaming crying (he never ever cries, mainly because I get whatever he needs before he gets to crying point but also he just usually shouts and makes noises to get our attention) but this was like a choking on air, blood curdling kind of scream. I started crying and decided he really doesn’t want that milk and it was really upsetting me that he was so so unhappy. So i’ve put him with me in bed in his favourite cuddle position with his pacifier and he seems somewhat okay for the minute. However he’s only had 2oz since his last feed 4 hours ago and normally he’s having 6/7oz! So i’m really worried and confused i just don’t know what’s going on?!!

Even though you’ve burped him it sounds like he could have trapped wind which is very painful. Continue your burp him and observe since he’s calm now. If he doesn’t calm down take him to be checked over just in case but it sounds to me personally like you’re already doing the right thing

This sounds a bit similar to what my boy did yesterday and I wondered if it was the teat or milk temperature. It could be both but also I think he was over tired. Kept pulling away, screaming etc etc. Was a real slog to get him to eat and upsetting seeing him like that. Today he’s much better and drinking normally. I think it could also be wind ?

He’s fallen to sleep now so I’m wondering that he wasn’t actually hungry and he wanted something else like a nappy change or his dummy maybe? He wasn’t mouthing his hands or anything so i might’ve just misread him. Once he’s awake i’ll lay him on my legs and see if i can get his wind out in case he has any, thanks guys🫶🏻🫶🏻
