When can I have a bath?
Hi! I’m currently on day 10 and desperately wanting a bath! Obviously showering every day like normal but just need a bath to sit and chill for a bit! When did you all bath after surgery?

I was told I could have one whenever I wanted as I was told I was healing lovely. I’ve not had one yet but I think it all depends how your healing
I was told I needed to wait until my 6 week check up to make sure i was healing properly

I’m 9 days today and desperately needed one so I just jumped in 😅 did a proper scrub before hopping in but I just couldn’t resist (bonus points for soaking in breast milk??)
When you stop bleeding, which means your internal wound from the placenta is healed and you are not in risk of infection. It took me 6 weeks.
I was told it was fine after I had my stitches removed on day 10
