Too much milk?

Due to a comment from a family member about feeding him too much I’m now over thinking this but I’m very 50/50 on this. My 10.2 week old boy who weighs a hearty 14.6lbs has been on 6oz, 5 times a day that he wants more milk. He’s a bit fussy after the bottle finishes but soon settles. I’ve given him 7oz per bottle today and he’s pretty much smashed each bottle. No sick and seems happier but I have a feeling his tummy hurts a bit when he’s finished. Not bad but he’s uncomfortable for a wee bit. I got the attached from the HV as a GUIDE and she always says to be guided by baby. I just feel this is a lot. Initially I thought the last and first bottle of the day could be the 7 as he sleeps longer but I’m in 2 minds. Ugh. I should say he moved to 6oz about 4/5 weeks ago. Anyone have a similar experience? Edit he was born at 10lbs and HV is happy with him and his weight gain. He’s 91st percentile and has stayed on that path.

All babies are different. My girl drinks just about 3oz but I put four ounces in her bottle and she has about 6 bottles a day. She was weighing 13lb14oz on Monday. She’s very nearly 3 months

As Paige said all babies are different. I always think if I would BF then how would I’ve known how much the baby eaten. As long they are happy and growing well that’s all it matters. ☺️

My first was 99 centile and used to have more milk than was recommended for her age. My second born only just hits her recommended amount but is in the 75th centile so go with baby. Alot of the formulas do state on the tin that amounts are a guideline and your baby may need more or less than stated xx

I think my boy was on that 6oz then. He is now on 7oz bottles at 12 and a bit weeks. Every baby is different!
