Scary experience

I had the biggest scare yesterday. My baby ate and I put her in a bouncer after awhile she ended up falling asleep in it. (Which I was going to take her out because I heard it’s not good for them to sleep in one) My baby then started to choke in her sleep and it lasted about 3 minutes she was turning red/purplish. I feel so bad because at the moment I felt like I couldn’t do anything since I was in such a panic. We took her to the hospital once my sister did cpr on her. Thankfully they said her heart/breathing seemed fine. I just hope to not experience something like this again it was the scariest thing I ever experienced 😓 I’m never using a bouncer again 😭 and now I know to not put her in one awhile after eating.

I’m sorry you experienced that it can be so scary to have a baby Lord mine did almost the same thing but she had spit up coming out her nose and mouth and it was so terrifying……

That's so scary!!

Omg that’s scary! My daughter was spitting up a lot at the beginning. I must have paged the nurse 4-5 times in the hospital bc I kept thinking she couldn’t breathe. Once since we’ve been home her whole face turned bright red while she was throwing up. It was so scary. Usually it’s just a small amount of milk from her mouth or nose. Thankfully she seems to be trending towards outgrowing it
