The reason you sterilize bottles is formula / milk related. It's a breeding ground for dangerous strains of bacteria which can get into small cracks and crevices. We also sterilize pretty much anything going into baby's mouth before 3 months because of their immature immune systems. Spoons are just like any cutlery we use, and baby's immune system after 6 months is developed enough to handle those common, minor microbes. Not sterilizing actually helps develop the immune system more efficiently by exposing it to common germs. We still do it with bottles and anything formula-related, just because I know the horror stories around Cronobacter and I won't take any chances. 😅
Thank you was just unsure x
There is no need to sterilise cutlery
