Fireworks
Ive totally forgot to order my lo some ear defenders and was planning on going to a display tomorrow night, but was planning on standing somewhere a bit further away and its only a 5 min display,
whats peoples opinions on taking babies to fireworks displays without ear defenders
Will quite happily not go for his protection but its our family tradition so would love to take him

I ordered ear defenders and they got delayed so ended up not having any. My little boy has a fluffy bear outfit with a hood so I covered his ears with my hands over the hood and he wasn’t fazed by them at all xx
Thank you! My mum said she never used them on me or my sister and neither did my MIL, he will be wearing a hat and will put his hood up aswell with my hand over his ears to try and protect him x

Another one whose mum didn’t use them. I get it was 30 years ago blah blah, but I took my little girl sans ear defenders and she was fine. She fell asleep in her sling. She had a fluffy pram suit on and a woolly hat. Go have fun.

I went to a display tonight and there were lots of babies that weren’t wearing ear defenders. I put them on my LO but my mum said she never used them on me, she just covered my ears with her hands! X
